Brazil has mandatory applications for LED light source products and passed INMETRO certification. The mandatory requirements for LED street lamps will come into force in 2018. Regulations and standards for LED drivers are also being developed.

India has made it compulsory to pass the BIS certification of India for LED light source products, fixed LED lamps and LED drivers. At the same time, six kinds of LED lamps such as embedded LED lamps, LED street lamps, LED floodlights and emergency LED lamps have been added to the product catalogue of India's third stage compulsory certification requirements.

With the maturity of LED technology, the application of LED lighting products will become more and more popular. In order to ensure the safety of LED products in its market, other countries and regions will be more stringent on their corresponding regulations and certification standards.
